Q. What’s Cooler Than Being Cool? A. The V-ZUG Supreme Cooling Range

A boutique brand known for an unwavering focus on design, innovation and sustainability, backed by a strong Swiss history takes its time with product development. But now, it is time. With excitement, V-ZUG Australia launch their new Supreme Cooling collection and invite you to a first look at a range of food preservation and wine cooling options that take luxury to a new level. Be among the first to see and experience the range with an activation that explores both the product and the design process.

A conversation with our partners from Carr and Sterling Global, alongside DKO Architecture and Capital Alliance, will highlight the synergies of both brand and design.

Our guests will be treated to an exclusive V-ZUG Supreme Cooling gift to help you celebrate while you consider how to integrate these stunning pieces into your future projects.

Speakers

Mohan Du

The son of a first-generation migrant family that instilled a hard-working ethic into him from a young age, Mohan, 33, founded the real estate investment company Capital Alliance back in 2012.

Announced the Australian Property Institute’s Young Achiever of the Year for Victoria in 2015, Mohan has quickly expanded the young company from suburban developer to inner-city mix-use hotel developer, with project values totaling in excess of $1.4 billion.

Capital Alliance currently has two flagship Marriott Hotels under construction in Melbourne, one of which is the first Marriott International in Australia in over two decades and the other is the first ever AC Hotel by Marriott in Australia.

Chris McCue

Chris McCue is the Director of Architecture at Carr and brings an astute design eye that continues the studio’s vision of contemporary, timeless design. As a leader at Carr, Chris ensures that our architectural projects exceed our client’s expectations. Chris’ extensive experience and speciality are within the architecture and interior design of high-end residential, multi-residential and hospitality work, which culminates from his years working locally and internationally.

Chris’ design philosophy is driven by site, context and ultimately the people who will be inhabiting the space. Part of the process he undertakes to get to a successful project consists of detailed analysis and rigorous briefing. From intimately understanding the daily rituals of life, to truly understanding the needs of the end-user, Chris ensures the final outcome emotes a feeling when in the space. “Our projects always consider longevity and timelessness to ensure our work remains relevant, not just today, but
also into the future,” he says. “Each project brings something unique depending on its site and what comes out of the briefing but will always come to life with a rationalist
approach to architecture.”

Chris leads with an inclusive style where ideas are explored and an atmosphere of excellence in design and client service is constantly cultivated. And this open communication naturally translates into how our relationships are fostered and built. Under Chris’ guidance, Carr projects are created in partnership with our clients and collaborators.
