Designing with your client’s taste and preferences should always be top of mind.

Kate McGlone (Winning Appliances) and James Garvan (James Garvan Architecture) will showcase the different kitchens in the Winning Appliances Richmond & Chadstone showroom, demonstrating how each kitchen suits different customer’s lifestyle needs from the entertainer through to the sustainably conscious client. Kate will take you through the design along with the appliances that match.

Kate McGlone

Contributing to nominated showrooms, Kate’s approach to design is contemporary and purposeful. Working both domestically and internationally, Kate has a global outlook on all showroom projects. Her most recent projects include Winning Appliances Richmond which was a finalist in the World Retail Awards as well as Winning Appliances Chadstone, a true example of luxury retail design. Kate understands the varying customer lifestyles and customer needs and works to design spaces that caters from the entertainer at heart through to the home cook.

James Garvan

Great architecture and interior design is site-responsive and client-specific, it is progressive, ambitious and yet timeless. Above all else, great architecture displays the consistency and purity of an idea that has been meticulously chased through all stages of a project’s lifespan. Through Architectural, Interior Design and Construction Management services, James Garvan Architecture brings this consistency and purity to any project.
Specialising in high-quality and tailored residential design, a rigorous and collaborative design and delivery process is undertaken in the pursuit of creating crafted contemporary architecture, and ultimately something great.

Garvan graduated from the University of Sydney with a Masters in Architecture where he won the Sir John Sulman Award for the Most Outstanding Academic Record and was placed on the Dean’s List of Academic Achievement five years running. Since graduating, he has worked in London and Sydney with some of the world’s most prolific architects before establishing his own practice; James Garvan Architecture.
